Case Studies

Case summary  – breach of contract

Natasha was instructed by a client to assist with a dispute relating to a faulty food delivery van. The client had been trying without success to reject and return the vehicle for a full refund and sought legal help.

Natasha was able to assess the claim, write a strong legal letter setting out the position in law whilst identifying to the seller that there were also coincidental sums that her client could additionally claim.

The sellers were not engaging and would not acknowledge the legal position, but after a number of communications back and forth Natasha was successfully able to persuade the seller to seek legal advice.

After then communicating with the sellers legal representatives Natasha was able to negotiate a settlement whereby her client was able to reject and return the vehicle and receive an agreed settlement sum which was then paid, which was a commercially sensible solution for all parties.
