Keri Constantatou

As Head of the Agricultural & Rural Land / Commercial Property team, Keri Constantatou has considerable expertise and experience dealing with all aspects of ‘land law’, commercial property and rural / agricultural matters.

She advises on a wide range of rural issues including the development of farmland and reserving development value, tenancy succession, footpaths and public access issues as well as general freehold and leasehold property work for farmers and rural landowners.

Keri joined Gepp Solicitors in 2007 after completing her law degree at De Montfort University and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2013 after training with the firm. Keri became a partner in 2019.

Specialisms

Keri specialises in advising rural landowners on legal agreements relating to the promotion and sale of strategic development land. She also advises clients on a wide variety of complex issues including easements, development of farmland through promotion and option agreements, reserving the benefit of development value via overage agreements as well as refinancing farms and land and all matters relating to freehold and leasehold property work including farm business tenancies. Keri works closely with the firm’s specialist tax team as well as the firm’s regulatory team.

Memberships

Keri is a member of the Agricultural Law Association and is a council member for the Essex Agricultural Society as well as just being recently appointed on to the Essex branch of the CLA Committee.
