Private Client

James Compton joined Gepp Solicitors in 2022 and is currently a trainee solicitor based within the Private Client department.

James graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2022 with a Second-Class Honours Degree in Law.  Following this, he joined Gepps working as a paralegal in the Criminal Department and commenced his training contract in 2023. James is currently completing the Legal Practice Course.

Specialisms

James assists the solicitors with all aspects of client work. In his previous experience within the Criminal Department James completed his Police Station Accreditation and frequently advised clients at the police station for Summary and Indictable offences. James has also completed seats working within the Family and Dispute Resolution teams.

James takes a meticulous and pragmatic approach to his work and aims to deliver a high standard of client care.
