Yesterday evening, the newly formed Gepp & Sons netball team played their second match against Chelmsford Prison Officers. After the first quarter, and some pointers given to us by the oppositions' coach, (perhaps they felt guilty about appointing the umpire !) the initial lead by the Prison Officers gained in the first quarter was eroded. By the end of the third quarter the Gepp & Sons Team were winning by 3 goals, after some brilliant shooting by Charlotte Searles and Karen Fresle. Unfortunately, in the final quarter the opposition took the lead again, finally winning by 39 – 29. The team look forward to the next game, which is to be against another firm of local solicitors.
