Stuart joined Gepp Solicitors in 2023 and is a Solicitor in the family team.
Prior to joining Gepps, Stuart completed his training contact in 2020 and practiced as a family solicitor predominantly in North Essex where he gained the foundations of his family law experience.

Stuart frequently represents clients dealing with divorce domestically and has experience in dealing with spouses applying for divorce living internationally. Stuart has experience with simple divorces, as well problematic divorces where spouses may be difficult to locate.

Stuart has vast experience in representing clients in respect of financial matters following divorce proceedings or dissolution of a Civil Partnership. Stuart has experience in representing high net worth clients, with assets in both the UK and internationally. Stuart has a good working relationship with many experts that greatly assist his clients in reaching a fair and reasonable financial settlement.
Stuart also has experience of enforcement proceedings against an existing Court Order.

Stuart has experience with representing client’s at either the Magistrates Court or the County Court in respect of Private Children Law Proceedings. Stuart takes a pragmatic approach when dealing with Private Children Law Proceedings. Stuart has had vast experience in representing clients who have not had contact with their child(ren) for a prolonged period, in addition to dealing with child arrangement orders to spend time and live with. Stuart has frequently dealt with urgent applications, which have included an interim live with order, along with specific issue orders such as domestic and international relocation of a child.
Stuart also has experience in applications to vary existing orders, and enforcement.
Stuart has experience in assisting clients with their separation, whether this consists of negotiating a financial settlement, or advising and drafting on a Separation Agreement following a financial settlement being agreed upon with the ex-partner.
Stuart has experience in representing client’s requiring help with cohabitation matters, which includes practical advice about what to consider before cohabiting with a partner, as well as advising and drafting Cohabitation Agreements.
Stuart has represented many clients in preparing and/or advising about pre-nuptial or post-nuptials, which have been able to safeguard assets such asfamily businesses and/or property portfolios. In addition, Stuart has been able to advise client’s regarding the importance of protecting assets prior to marriage, especially in relation to client’s who are entering marriage in their later life, orclients marrying again.
Stuart has vast experience in representing clients in respect of both Non-Molestation and Occupation Order(s). Stuart has experience in representing clients on an ex-parte (without notice) basis, as well as with notice.
Stuart has experience in representing clients in respect of an application for child abduction, especially internationally and representing clients before the Royal Courts of Justice. Stuart has experience in successfully defending arguments around consent and habitual residence.
