Levent is frequently instructed to represent suspects at the police station, Royal Military Police venues nationally and internationally. He also regularly represents clients appearing before the Magistrates Court accused of an array of offences.

Levent has Higher rights of audience in Criminal Law and is therefore able to represent clients who appear before the Crown Court.

Reported Cases

  • R v R – Levent represented The Defendant an 88-year-old male charged with Causing Death by Careless Driving. Following substantial mitigation advanced the Defendant received a financial penalty and was disqualified from driving for a decade.
  • R v JM – Levent successfully defended the Defendant accused of Breaching Non-Molestation order and Domestic Assault. Following written representations & responses to the prosecutions legal applications to adduce bad character and hearsay evidence. The prosecution offered no evidence to all charges.
  • R v JA – Levent was instructed to represent a 37-year-old Defendant accused of criminal damage, public order and obstructing / resisting a police constable. Levent highlighted that the prosecution case consisted of outstanding information and missing material which had not been preserved by the prosecution / police. The prosecution, having considered our legal argument & representations, decided to discontinue all proceedings against our client.
  • Essex Police v PC C – Allegations that a police officer had knowingly allowed her partner to drive whilst disqualified. In this case it was successfully shown to the panel’s satisfaction that the that the officer had been in a controlling, abusive relationship and had been unaware of her partner’s disqualification.
  • Levent has recently been instructed to represent a Defendant accused of Fraudulent evasion of Duty chargeable on goods / Tax evasion/ Cheating Revenue (Ongoing Case)
