Emily Smith

Emily joined Gepp Solicitors in March 2026 as the firm’s Marketing Manager.

She has worked in marketing since 2001, graduating from Anglia Ruskin University with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.

Between 2008 and 2013, Emily worked in legal and professional services, where she developed a strong understanding of clear, client-focused communications within law firms, supporting business growth through strategic campaigns, events and digital marketing.

In September 2013, Emily joined Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society, where she spent over 12 years in a senior marketing role. During this time, she led integrated marketing campaigns and events, supported brand development, digital marketing and played an active role in community engagement for one of Chelmsford’s longest-standing local organisations. Her role included leading fundraising initiatives and working closely with local charities, including Essex Community Foundation.

Having worked in Chelmsford for many years, Emily has strong ties to the local area and understands the importance of building trusted relationships within the community. At Gepp Solicitors, she leads the firm’s marketing activity, supporting business development and ensuring communications reflect the firm’s long-standing reputation and commitment to clients across Essex.

Outside of work, Emily is a keen runner and a member of Springfield Striders Running Club, regularly taking part in local races and events.
