We are delighted to welcome Imana Rashid, who has joined Gepp Solicitors as a Solicitor in our Private Client team.

Imana advises clients on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and probate and estate administration, bringing experience in helping individuals and families plan for the future and navigate what can often be sensitive or difficult circumstances.

Having grown up close to Essex, Imana was already familiar with Gepp Solicitors and our longstanding presence in the area.

Speaking about joining the firm, Imana said:

“I chose to join Gepp Solicitors because, having grown up close to Essex, I was already aware of the firm and its strong reputation in the area.

“I’m looking forward to taking on new cases and clients, developing my experience and being a reliable and supportive member of the Private Client team.”

Imana originally intended to pursue a career in family law and worked as a childcare paralegal before beginning her training contract. However, a seat in Private Client changed the direction of her career.

She explained:

“Once I completed my Private Client seat, I realised how much I enjoyed the work. For me, Private Client can sometimes feel a bit like detective work. I enjoy learning about a person’s background, understanding their circumstances and piecing together their family history.”

Imana qualified as a Solicitor in December 2023 and has since developed her experience in Private Client law, with a particular focus on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the estate administration.

A key part of Imana’s approach is building strong relationships with her clients and making legal advice clear and understandable. She has particular experience working with older clients and takes time to ensure they feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the decisions they are making.

Alongside developing her experience in her core areas of Private Client work, Imana is keen to gain further experience in trust work and hopes to undertake the STEP qualification in the future.
