Founded in 1858, the Essex Agricultural Society (EAS) has been supporting and serving the rural community in Essex for over 150 years. With a loyal membership network, EAS promote agriculture and rural industries through a year-round diary of educational and social events.
The highlight of the year for the society is their Food and Farming day at ARU Writtle where over 3,000 school children from across Essex come together to see and hear where their food comes from. This year’s event is on Tuesday 24th June 2025. As longstanding members of EAS, Gepps Rural Team provide stewards to guide school children around this wonderful event.
