Seven months into his new role as an EP, we sat down with Farhad to discuss everything from what inspired him to pursue law, tips for getting married and what is his priority for today… Here is what we learned:
- What gives you a sense of achievement?
Impacting clients’ lives positively is immensely rewarding and a key reason I pursued a career in law, particularly family law. Our firm’s positive feedback and strong reputation is testament to our hard work and goals here at Gepp Solicitors.
- What is your priority for today?
Successfully managing my work, leading a team, and fulfilling the role of EP requires balancing various aspects while ensuring the best client service and demonstrating effective leadership.
- Do you have a tip for anyone about to get married?
My biggest tip is to marry the one you love, but if you have assets to protect, consider getting a prenuptial agreement.
- How would you like to develop your services over the next five years?
I will be developing my services over the next five years by continuously improving the client experience and making our services as efficient and effective as possible, while staying ahead of industry changes.
- What advice would you give to a 20-year-old Farhad?
My advice would be to stay focused & build strong relationships and networks.
- Do you have a tip for anyone considering a divorce/ separation?
This can be challenging depending on the circumstances. Overall, I would suggest trust your lawyer and try to remove emotions from the situation to avoid unnecessary conflict.
- What inspired you to pursue law?
As a kid, I felt Inspired by John Grisham novels, as I found them interesting and compelling. I was drawn to law through my desire to help people and make a difference.
- What is the most rewarding part of working in the family team?
Our department is energetic, experienced, and has expert knowledge in the area. We are agile, always willing to change and improve. We will continue to grow as a team, especially as the industry changes.
- How have improvements in technology impacted upon your clients?
As a firm, we have embraced improvements in technology. We are nearly paperless with top-of-the-line systems, enabling us to work far more efficiently and quickly, resulting in significant cost savings for our clients.
